I think signing Kosuke Fukodome to lead off and play center next year makes a lot of sense. He was 5th in the majors last year in Ptiches per Plate Appearance with 4.29. He has On Base skills. I think he is the kind of hitter we need at the top of the line up. He made a lot of money with the Cubs, but hopefully could be siagned for a lot less in 2012. He is getting older and his skills could be deteriorating. But I think it could be a good move with the Giants limited options.
